The Pedestrian/Cyclist Bridge across I-675 near Wright State is currently in engineering for the City of Beavercreek.  An Open House for public input is scheduled for 28 February at the Beavercreek City Hall (Council Chambers) between 6 and 8 PM. The City of Beavercreek is also updating their Thoroughfare Plan to include Complete Streets requirements for cyclists, pedestrians and other non-motorised users of the Public Right of Way.  An Open house is also planned to take public input on this effort.  It will be held in March meeting specifics are also TBD. This information will be posted on a Facebook webpage titled "Beavercreek Bikeway Users Group". It will be contained in the monthly BBAC minutes as part of the the Event Calendar for 2012.

Volunteers Needed

The BBAC is always looking for volunteers to help in Committee functions like the Rodeo, Popcorn Festival, Rides, trail construction and fund raising for the proposed I-675 Pedestrian/Cyclist bridge in the vicinity of Wright State University (See picture below).  Boosters would serve as advisors to the Committee and would not necessarily have to be residents of Beavercreek. Anybody interested should contact  Roger Brislawn.

Thanks DCC
