League of American Bicyclist certified instructors will offer the League’s Road I bicycle safety course from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m on April 5 and 12. The course  teaches the skills necessary to use a bicycle confidently for recreation and transportation.  Instructors Chuck Smith and Dan Carrigan are DCC members with years of experience commuting and touring. The course is for people 16 and older, although children 13 to 15 may attend with a parent. Participants must bring their own bike and helmet. The $55 class will be offered at the Wright-Dunbar Interpretive Center,  30 South Williams Street, Dayton, OH.  The fee covers the cost of textbooks and materials which the students receive.  Preregistration is required.
