City of Springboro Bicycle & Pedestrian Plan The City of Springboro through its Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) is seeking comments from residents on its draft Bicycle & Pedestrian Plan report through Friday, March 15, 2013. The plan, when adopted, will serve as a guide for Springboro City Council, its boards and commissions including BPAC and City staff for making decisions on bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure and policies. The plan is being produced by the City and BPAC with the assistance of the consulting firm The Greenway Collaborative, Inc. The Bicycle & Pedestrian Plan is available through the project website hosted by The Greenway Collaborative: http://www.greenwaycollab.com/Projects/Springboro/Springboro.html. The website includes a comment utility. A copy of the Bicycle & Pedestrian Plan is available for review at the Planning Department in the Springboro City Building, 320 West Central Avenue, during normal business hours which are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. A copy of the plan is also available at the Reference Desk of the Franklin-Springboro Public Library, 125 Park Lane. BPAC intends to formally recommend the Bicycle & Pedestrian Plan’s adoption at its Monday, March 25, 2013 meeting. The plan will then be reviewed by the Springboro Planning Commission and then adopted by Springboro City Council in May.
