The 2013 season will include the 2nd Wednesday of each month from April through September and 1st Wednesday of October. Participants who do not Base Access have new requirements this year - see below. - April 10
- May 8: Entrants who will reach age 50 by December 31, 2013, will have an opportunity to compete in the Dayton Regional Senior Olympics Time Trial Competition, to be part of the Blue Streak TT. Details.

To participate, send an email to chuck@ohiobike.org at least a week before the first Blue Streak in which you plan to participate. Include in your email the names of all people riding in the motor vehicle you will drive to Blue Streak. For each person, include their motor vehicle driver license number (including state where issued). If person is a minor with no motor vehicle driver license number, indicate "minor." Plan to arrive at Gate 12A at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (SR 444) by 5pm the day of the event, and register in the Tennis Club Parking lot by 5:30pm. We will start the riders at 30-second intervals beginning at 6 pm. All participants are required to fully complete the Blue Streak waiver form, sign it, and mail it (or bring to TT if registered with online form) to arrive at least one week before the first event in which they compete. Only one (1) form is required for the whole year but you must register for each event. All riders must be registered and checked in before 5:30pm, even if they previously sent in the waiver form. Online Waiver/Registration Form An option if you don't want to submit the online form is to mail in this Printable Waiver/Registration Form as indicated on the form. If you don't mail in waiver (only use online form) bring a signed copy of the mail in form with you to the Time Trials. If there is any question regarding receipt of your waiver form contact Chuck Smith Directions to Blue Streak TT: All Blue Streak Time Trial participants coming from Springfield, Columbus, and points north and northeast will find a new route as they reach the Fairborn Theater on South Broad Street (State Route 444) in Fairborn due to the closing of a portion of SR444. From Broad Street, motorists will turn left (east) onto Dayton Drive, right (south) onto Central Avenue, right (southwest) onto Kauffman Avenue, right (northwest) onto Dayton-Yellow Springs Road, then left (southwest) onto SR 444. See Map. They will then turn right into Gate 12A to enter the base. - Enter Gate 12-A (AFMC Headquarters on SR 444, where you see jet fighters and flag poles).
- Follow Chidlaw one block to Spruce.
- Turn left on Spruce.
- Follow Spruce as it bends to the right past NASIC building and golf course. (Watch 25 mph speed limit)
- Turn right on Skeel Avenue (at golf driving range)
- Turn left into Tennis Club parking lot (first left after passing driving range)
All Blue Streak participants must exit Gate 12A after Blue Streak, as 12A is the only Area A gate still open after 6pm. Blue Streakers are asked to: IF YOU DO NOT HAVE BASE ACCESS, send an email to chuck@ohiobike.org at least a week before EACH Blue Streak in which you plan to participate. Arrive at the Tennis Club parking lot to unload bikes and warm up by 5pm Register and check-in by 5:30pm even if they previously sent in the waiver form. Donate in the canister on the Blue Streak registration table, as race timers charge for each Blue Streak participant.
Numbers will be distributed at sign-up. Riders will be released once every 30 seconds, beginning at 6pm, to ride 10 miles around the flight line. Participants may be disqualified for: - Drafting within 6 feet.
- Throwing water bottles.
- Harassing timing officials for times. (Participants are expected to carry their own computers on their bikes.)
- Returning to the finish line after crossing. (This may confuse the timing officials.)
