The 2010 Blue Streak season will be virtually identical to the 2009 season, with all of the requirements and rules the same.  The 2010 season will include the second Wednesday of April through October.  April 14; May 12; June 9; July 14; August 11; September 8; October 13.

Participants must  email Chuck Smith at chuck@ohiobike.org at least a week before the first event, and must sign and present the waiver already on the DCC site before the first time trial.  As before:  Register by 5:30pm and start at 6 pm.

All participants are required to fully complete the Blue Streak waiver form, sign it, and mail it (or bring to TT if registered with online form)  to arrive at least one week before the first event in which they compete.  Only one (1) form is required for the whole year but you must register for each event. All riders must be registered and checked in before 5:30pm, even if they previously sent in the waiver form.

Online Waiver/Registration Form

An option if you don't want to submit the online form is to mail in this Waiver/Registration Form as indicated on the form.  If you don't mail in waiver (only use online form) bring a signed copy of the mail in form with you to the Time Trial(s).

If there is any question regarding receipt of your waiver form contact Chuck Smith

Directions to Blue Streak TT:

  1. Enter Gate 12-A (AFMC Headquarters on SR 444, where you see jet fighters and flag poles).
  2. Follow Chidlaw one block to Spruce.
  3. Turn left on Spruce.

  5. Turn right on Skeel Avenue (at golf driving range)
  6. Turn left into Tennis Club parking lot (first left after passing driving range)

All riders must register and check in before 5:30pm, even if they previously sent in the waiver form.  Numbers will be distributed at sign-up. Riders will be released once every 30 seconds, beginning at 6pm, to ride 10 miles around the flight line.

Participants may be disqualified for:

  •  Drafting within 6 feet.
  • Throwing water bottles.
  •  Harassing timing officials for times.   (Participants are expected to carry their own computers on their bikes.)
  •  Returning to the finish line after crossing.  (This may confuse the timing officials.)

Please do not return to the finish line after crossing.
