Come join Dayton Ohio Ride of Silence: Join cyclists worldwide in a silent slow-paced ride (max. 12 mph/20kph) in honor of those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways. Park at Carillon Park and ride up the bike path (toward Stewart) to the Bike Cyclist statue. If leaving Carillon Park parking lot cross the street onto the bike path and take a right. Please do not block the bike path while waiting for the starting line up. Close to 7 pm we will line up on Carillon. If possible wear white and have front lights and flashing red light. This event if open to all riders of all levels. Pace will not exceed 12 mph. The route is approximately 8 miles long. This route is on the road and the group will obey all traffic laws and ride together. Arrive 15-30 minutes early to prep you bike and to line up for prompt 7 pm departure.
