Route:
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/30433321
56 miles, 1950 feet of climbing

This is the "standard" route with detours around the construction on Gebhart Rd. by Oak Grove Park and New Burlington Rd. north of Corwin. If the weather holds up and the group is willing, the route may be extended by 5-10 miles.

Weather:
The temperature at the start should be in the mid-70's, climbing to the mid-80's by the end of the ride. Winds are forecast to be from the SW at 5-10 mph. There is a significant chance of rain (about 40% all morning). Wet roads will cancel the ride, but if they're just damp, the ride will likely happen. The route may be altered to avoid weather.

Stops:
There are 2 scheduled stops:
Rest area by bike path in Corwin at about mile 24
- Gas station in Bellbrook at about mile 48 (or later if the route is extended)

Pace:
This is a mid-B ride. Expect a minimum average speed of 16 mph, but more likely the average speed will be closer to 17 mph.

Departure:
The ride departs promptly at 8:30 am, and there will be a pre-ride briefing about 8:25 amIf you drive to the ride and you are parking your car close to 8:30 am, you may get left behind. Arrive 15 minutes early and be ready to clip-in and roll at 8:30 am.

Aerobars (and other safety stuff):
Your bike with aerobars is welcome on the ride; however, do NOT use aerobars in the group. It's dangerous and it's also prohibited by DCC Policy. Also, while this shouldn't need to be said, your bike MUST HAVE BRAKES. If you have a fixie with no brakes, you shouldn't bring that bike out on a group ride. Furthermore, DCC Policy also prohibits wearing headphones.
