Wright Wride 2020 has gone virtual!  Due to current global events we did not want to risk riders' health and safety, particularly at the rest stops where maintaining a 6-foot distance is difficult.  However, my desire always has been for Wright Wride to help the local economy, so let's still do that!  Below are the 25-mile and 50-mile routes from last year.  I added locations of local food vendors and other resources that I have used and/or was going to use this year for Wright Wride.

So, here is the idea for Wright Wride 2020:
  1. Make the day your own!  The 25-mile and 50-mile routes are given as options, yet ride where you wish.  If you do choose the Wright Wride routes, please remember that these are not supported and not marked!
  2. A list of local vendors in Clifton, Cedarville, and South Charleston are listed below.  Let's help our local economy by visiting one (or more!) of these places for a snack or a meal!
  3. For each vendor you visit, order breakfast, lunch, a snack, or at least water.  Then take a selfie at that location and post it on the DCC Facebook page with the hash tag "#WW2020".
  4. Most importantly, be safe and have fun!

The Village of Clifton:

Cedarville:
  • The Mom & Dad's Dairy Bar and Grill is open - drive through window only.  Website was recently updated with their menu; rider's are encouraged to call ahead with their orders.  (https://www.momanddadsdairybarandgrill.com/)
  • The Sweet Williams Bakery near the corner of Route 42 and Route 72 (a.k.a Main St) in the heart of Cedarville.  They may or may not be open, depending if the items are sold out.  (https://goo.gl/maps/12Rr4XMgxPgeTuJN6)
  • Right next to the bakery is the Beans-n-Cream coffee shop.  Great food and coffee!  (https://www.beans-n-cream.com/)
  • Across the street from the coffee shop is the Cedar Care Village Pharmacy.  Check there for sunscreen if you need some.  (https://www.cedarcarerx.com/)
  • Further up Route 72, across from the Cedarville University is a Shell gas station.  Check there for ice and water if you need some.
